mike - have a 'quick read' of the 'articles of interest' and 'supposed oil n gas slowdown' threads (if thats possible lol) and youll notice that the offshore oil and gas services sector is one that is not slowing down, and certainly not in this country. while that dirty lot known as mining services are getting punished with lower commodities prices, offshore its a different story, with all the big suppliers knowing they cant slowdown like they did in the past, as they wont be prepared for the next big oil and gas upswing if they do. also theyll only be spending the vast profits they made last year on these developments. GOM & north sea are same, with various reasons to keep these long productive locations working hard. i dont see any 'bargain basement' prices coming for any of the companies lange could be targetting, and if they were bargains, something would be wrong. continue as is, if you build it, they will come.
