volante - fending off an optus takeover If Commander's management want to keep their jobs for a little while longer, they should increase their bid and get a friendly takeover of Volante settled fairly soon. If they do, Singtel will be more hesitant to launch a hostile for Commander and the CDR team may be able to integrate VGL nicely.
If they dont succedd in the VGL takeover, Singtel will mop them up nicely at around $2.40.
A question arises as to whom the directors are looking out for. If they are going to get massive payouts by getting acquired they might just let VGL go and wait for Singetl to buy them. If they arent, then maybe they should lift the bid for VGl, integrate the business and increase earnings fro CDr shareholders...
