All companies/company Directors have a duty to add value for their shareholders. I'm ok with developing, spinning out, or selling Mawson when the time is right...whatever maximises value for the shareholders.

Going from explorer to miner is a massive step which brings many undone. Most companies, unless they have found a ball-tearer that cant be farked up are far better off staying in the exploration game.

I remain a holder because I have a pretty good understanding of the geology here and believe there's a high probablity those massive sulfide intercepts will start to string together at some point. However, I am critical with their rate of progress given how well funded they are and also how they are presenting their technical data to the market.

Remember too that there is a thing called opportunity cost. Both for us shareholders and for the company. We sit here at 12-13c whilst others in the Ni-exploration space (eg. CHN, BSX) have raced ahead over the same period. If you stayed with LEG instead of hedging your bets over that period then you've gone sideways at best.

Lastly, there have been many very good discoveries made over the years that just don't realise their value for shareholders because they took too long and weren't commercialised at the right time in the cycle. Should be right with +2% Ni +1.5% Cu though wink.png
