If unlockd is so good, why did Tata, At&t and Verizon signed up...

If unlockd is so good, why did Tata, At&t and Verizon signed up for Freeway instead? Freeway is just an app and if they really want to, they can put in more $$ anytime and make it cool. The thing is it's not the app that matters...it's the IP protected CSP platform running in the background that is the winner.

A cool app doesn't mean anything to the major players if it cannot be integrated with their existing infrastructure seamlessly. Can at&t provide directv streaming content with unlocked? I doubt it
