One can spend an awful lot of time looking for patterns and Harmonic Patterns in particular. The danger is people seem to make up their mind what pattern they have found and start investing accordingly before the pattern is confirmed. Then if you add those rather large ranges, e.g. 0.382 to 0.618 instead of taking as either or, it becomes only natural that they see Harmonic Patterns everywhere.
There is so much misinformation about these patterns out there all supplied by Dr. Google, it’s not funny. It is no wonder people fail using those rules incorrectly. On top of they fail to check on the internals, beca all that they are interested in is to establish the ratios given to them on google. The mind boggles when some “chartists” google those patterns and then even send you to study their findings. Have they checked for correctness? I don’t think they did!
