No a potential pattern is every forming pattern until it crosses its confirmation line as per your broadening wedge that broke above the top of the megaphone ( it could have also broken to the downside ) . where it became a confirmed pattern in which case you look to price projection targets .
A busted pattern is a different thing all together that I never mentioned you did.
