Sorry we have been there before and it happens on the 3rd Friday. Should you be the owner of a calendar, please go ahead and check the dates of high volumes on your chart. For 2022 you should find them to be Friday, March 18, 2022 / Friday, June 17, 2022 / Friday, September 16, 2022 and Friday, December 16, 2022. Naturally there can be other reasons for high volume days, like re-balancing dates for certain funds often towards the end of the month and the odd very positive or negative announcement. However usually Witching Days and Quadruple Witching Days stick out!
BTW why not ask Cabbie, because he quite often comes up with some weird and wonderful stories of what the market makers did on those days, by ignoring normal functions of the general market. Please just check when this started to happen for LTR! Surprising answer, it started on a Friday when LTR was entered into the ASX200. FA of a stock sometimes opens new horizons, which you, Cabby and possibly Veritas naturally not interested in, because it is all in the charts. LOL sometimes for you guys even occurrences that never happened but need some explanation ...
