Well your analysis may fit the wedge patterns provided. SYA's short position was opened on the 17th of September, I have been sorta wondering the same thing. I speculated this 3 months ago but was wrong.
My thinking was for such a large short position 250M shares raise on 17th of Sept, the contracts must be either 2 or 3 months maybe on the same day. I could not concieve of a six month contract, for that size. But we are dealing with Bank of America, State st and GS. Thanks for the tip, it probably going to be right.
