One of the rules in Elliott wave theory is that wave 4 can never infringe on wave 1. Except in a diagonal. If you come across someone changing this rule to suit what they want to see, head for the hills.

If the desire to ignore or change a rule occurs then either the wave count is wrong or the overall motive pattern just doesn't exist.

So here is the correct application of Elliott with LTR. It is at a crossroads to see if a corrective pattern has commenced or there will be one more move up to complete a wave 5 (major). Fudging won't work either way. Probably about time it stopped you know.
