Sell the news in general terms is when something is definitively planned and is worked towards, coming to fruition.
The news here is that from managements conservative guidelines that ongoing results should continue to surprise on the upside -
so comments along the lines of - " SP has priced this in " will be viewed as incorrect - and the SP 'should' rerate accordingly.
However - someone (or multiple?) has their foot on the SP throat atm - assuming a broker acting on behalf of very large client?
This sustained action could still throttle any short term gains as the end game will be to secure a JV or buyout as cheap as possible.
