Agreed, not all gaps fill, but they tend to here. Gap fill $1.15 allowed my last re entry after it had run to low $1.20s. I was a bit more conservative yesterday at $1.21, in case that gap only partially filled which sometimes happens. Kept some powder dry for $1.15-$1.17. I expect that to get hit when the PLS quarterly drops, (as it is a proxy for the sector and profits will be down.)
Your understandings are way ahead of mine, but I use a couple basic things that seem to work. The stock tends to respect fibs, gaps etc and guys like you put a more structured chart framework around that.
