everyone has their own investment decision, right, so if you sold and the price is lower now, good on you, and there're plenty of other holders who are still holding and I believe some are also chartist too.
and you got it wrong again, I still look at TA for entry, and top-up more when there's fear.
some stock you need to look at everything but not for stock like LTR or AGY.
for me, I think if you are in for FA then stick with it, and use TA for buy/top up; only look at everything you said above if It is a blue chip/ high M/C stocks. IMO.
