Did a rough calculation yesterday on costs in an average EV battery. Lithium hydroxide $45, Graphite $20, That is refined lithium @ $3843 tonne [11kg] .Graphite @ $1000 tonne [50kg] if my figures are right, the basic cost of these materials is low and manufacturers may be willing to pay more for reliable, safe supply. Lots of riggle room there.
