There is also another reason IMO that may be the Tesla influence. There is a lot of hype at the moment regarding the first production and Musk presentation show of the new Model Y Juniper expected Q1 of 2025, in at least 3 major markets worldwide.
I believe potential customers are waiting for this model. Right now there are bargains relating to the older models but with Tesla, it works like the Apple IPhone - There is a line up of new customers holding out for the new best of the best. Better range, better tech, better charging times, and expected to be cheaper again.
