@slick
thanks for your contribution.
"we just need to bounce all that off the LIT sector chart which is yet to print anything serious by way of a positive reversal. Man there’s so many of us waiting around for that signal as I think this sector will be brilliant."
Yes some are waiting for the signal on the LCE charts while some do it directly through the fundamentals as we do here. We altogether do quite a bid of good research.
Now we are sure why the lithium price is so low. You can have a look at our Lithium Related Media Articles thread;

"China’s Lithium City Is a Front Line of the Battery Trade War" by Bloomberg
And see my post #:79175911 after that one.
"I am quite sure that China opened its all lepidolite mines and operating them at full capacity but at huge loss for keeping the lithium price down"
The lithium is now the most critical of all critical minerals I guess because it will change the major industries and relations in all developed countries including US and EU because the auto OEM industry have a big base in these countries.
But China is forcing both the US and EU to shot down their auto industries. I don't think that'd be possible. That is quite a strategic thing for the west and it's also not limited to EVs now.
It's all about electrification of whole human life. Yes it's not limited to EVs, BESS is getting more important now. I'm watching that space very closely. The US is now being the second biggest on BESS after China because the whole world internet and main computer servers, data centres and AI computers are in the US and they need battery megapacks for power backup. However the US is very slow in the EV space. Their 4 months (Jan-April 2025) grow was only 5% while China was 35%, EU was 25% (RETW was 37%).
Also many other battery powered things are coming. Not talking about the robots for now.
EVs have another strategic importance. They are the data collecting tools for the manufacturers and the country it belongs to. That' is critical.
Also the EVs are also being critical tool in the information chain in human life.
Internet - Smart Phones - EV = All connected
But anyway everything is connected nowadays.
Cheers
