Amazing representation of the chart @anatol. Much better looking than anything I make hahaha. Here is how i read it.
Lets just say the flagpole starts at 2.5c give or take a couple pips (to make the pole an even number). The top of the flagpole is 12.5c. This = 10c flagpole. Confirmation of this flag is going above the top of the flagpole which is 12.5c. The projection is from 9.3c as we've hit this price point twice and its the lowest we've gone since the current flag formation formed. 9.3c + 5c(half the flagpole) = 14.3c. So lets say 14.5c to round it up. We've bounced off 9.5c 3 times anyway so this number can be justified... Once we hit 14.5c well we're in blue sky territory and could go crazy depending on how good the incoming news is.
The start of the bottom section of the rectangular flag is at 9.3c. Dropping below 9.3c is considered bearish and a failure of the flag pattern. The triangular flag pattern bearish point is at 8.8c, which also correlates with a fib line. We'd need bad news to make this happen IMO.
Then look at the RSI on Anatol's chart and you'll see at the VERY start of the flagpole our RSI was VERY similar to what it is now... This signifies the breather is over and we are now ready for the next move upward, which funnily enough is timed perfectly with BD results incoming and MRE for KV.
There is also a volume drop-off which is exactly what you want to see with this type of chart pattern.
Look's to me like we;re getting ready for the flood gates to open.
We simply fit the guidelines. http://thepatternsite.com/htf.htmlHigh and Tight Flag Identification Guidelines
Characteristic Discussion 1 Price trend Upward leading to the flag. Price must rise at least 90% (shoot for a double) in 2 months or less. 2 Shape A consolidation pattern forms after price doubles. It usually doesn't look like a flag or pennant, just a pause in the price rise. 3 Volume Recedes for best performance 4 Confirmation The pattern confirms as valid when price closes above the highest peak in the pattern, which is usually the flagpole top.
All IMO. DYOR!!
