My experience with channels mirrors that of many texts I've read - momentum often carries price beyond resistance levels before it snaps back. Charting is an art not a science and while I never cease to be amazed at how predictive it can be, nothing works 100% of the time. As you note, channel placement is subjective and I'm often tweaking placement.
It's also likely that LTR, being a low-priced stock, is subject to greater fluctuations than a larger company and therefore harder to chart accurately.
