great post @FlashPoint, if any SH here is not aware of this then they should be and please read Flash's post. All the older and LTHs will know this, but your post explains something that is often referenced by SHs and actions of the 'bots'. I suspect some newer/younger investors don't fully understand what is meant by this and how they operate. The answer is mathematically and algorithmically all based on Charts as you have pointed out. Hence why broadly understanding charting and how charts are used by the professionals is an essential skill for the long term FA investor. Even though I never use them myself to make an investment decision, they help explain short term price gyrations for me and that understanding can calm the nerves of those that are long. IMO the FA investor who ignores TA is just as blinkered and handicapped as the TA investor who ignores FA. Love your work Flash.
