I understand your disappointment, because you where probably looking for some sort of response from Cabbie regarding your question about the DOW chart. However once the very small stuff is sorted out - nothing so far, but there still might be something in the making.

beisha reckons it is a Bearish Gartley, but at the same time his wave 4 down got "swamped by negative FA", which is something I haven't heard of before and has now mention in EWT as all.
As per normal with him confusion galore, and nothing really adds up because even the sources he is using to back up his claim are saying he is wrong in applying the Gartley pattern and one of the main rules of EWT "Wave 4 does not overlap with the price territory of wave 1" is out the window at the same time.

Anyway I had better present my DOW chart at this stage, which IMCO shows an ascending horn or better known as an ascending Broadening Formation, which if it breaks to the south could be bad news especially for blue chips ...

because remember the DOW represents just a small number (30) of leading stocks.
