Seeing that last week's CS looked similar to a Bullish Hammer CS

I would take this week's CS as an inverted Hammer.

Inverted Hammer:

This pattern consists of a black/red body followed by an Inverted Hammer that is characterised by a long upper shadow and a small body. It is similar in shape to the Bearish Shooting Star but unlike the Shooting Star, the Inverted Hammer appears in a downtrend and signals a bullish reversal.

Here is a 39 minute chart showing not only what is inside the weekly CS, but also the volumes in 30 minute intervals, which IMCO shows that after the initial volume spike following the announcement and initial profit taking, SP was carefully stage managed down in order to trigger stop loss levels, rather than unceremoniously dumped by sellers as someone claimed earlier. By reducing the time scale to 30 minutes or even further it becomes clear that volumes can be analysed in more detail and yes "It ain't rocket science" !
