@vmp IMO the key is to look at this over a very long period. I believe shorting happened big time after we broke through $2 and we were shorted all the way down to around $1 relying on the view that as we were a long way from production the shorters would be safe and there would always be weak sellers. So the question is what is the average price of these shorters to break even or make money. Maybe the CR price of $1.65 or just below, only a guess by me. Anyway, if I am broadly correct the shorters are prepared to lose money now on these trades because overall they are still ahead and they do not want to frighten the herd into another bull run to $2.50 which would be catastrophic for them. I am not sure exactly how to answer you but I think the answer lies in a long term shorting strategy based on the safety of LTR being a long way from production. That of course is all changing now and getting more dangerous for them every week. The GS report helped them but that is wearing off now as lithium prices and the EV revolution goes parabolic. The shorters we are only concerned about are of course massive hedge funds with deep pockets you would think they would have to break camp and move on soon. A pre-Xmas $2.50/$3 bull run would wipe out any gain if they are not careful. That is how I see it anyway. cheers
