Yes WRB Hidden Gaps are a different animal to the normal gaps we look at, I just meant that I think it was on some WRB forum that I picked up the terms Inside and Outside gaps when they were talking about how often "IG's" get quickly filled compared to "OG's" (and some gaps are a combo of both). WRB analysis is just another method to find horizontal levels to help with entry, stop and profit targets. A WRB Hidden Gap only sets up after a Wide Range Bar/Candle and is defined by the bar before it and the one after it. It's a method to try and find some structure around volatile price movements in any time frame. It's one of those left of field techniques that you could use all the time or just pull out for a special occasion.

Below is a chart which shows a WRB Hidden Gap successfully setting up levels where price reacted when coming back down. Like with anything, it works better when there's confluence with other techniques as there is here. And if nothing else, it helps to draw attention to important trading levels from the past that might come in to play again in the future. Also, I've marked up a few normal Outside Gaps in orange and Inside Gaps in blue and some un-filled combinations during the latest run down to better explain what they are. Maybe a better explanation is that Inside Gaps begin at the close of the first bar, and Outside Gaps are based just on the untraded area between the bars?
