Yeah, it would be Minor or some opportunist hoping to make a very conservative 0.5c to 1.5c per share; which ends up with Minor anyway. If there were serious competition for a piece of the pie, we would see buys gobbling up the sells in chucks while waiting for the volume to build up. Either they already have a shared 10%, or they have given bidding higher for more shares.
I wonder how the Thais will do in Australia? Has there ever been a situation like this with another Australian hotel chain? How did they approch the market? Hands-off? Or controlling, restructure?
