were interest rates this low in 2007?
Lets say the stock does not earn as much as its capitalisation shows. That is already evident i think. But what if the dividend it pays is still better that negative bond rates or interest rates? Will there be a fight to own the stock just to get that rate? eg if you sell at 52 and somebody thinks that they can buy at 52 and still get a decent yield better than interest rates what do you expect them to do? so there might be a quick change of hands but a fight for yield. Happy to be corrected here.
