    personally I don't see the connection with reality. imo managers do hard work and longer hours than many others. so they earn their wage generally.

    yet the drudgery of menial tasks is not well rewarded and are under the compulsion to accept their lot of low wages and a harder life.

    at the same time I don't accept the communist pretension that all workers should be paid equally. greater intellectual effort deserves greater reward imo. such is harder to come by whereas physical exertion is easily found and so theres less competition which might drive up wages.

    its a conundrum that I'm glad I don't have to solve
