Trouble with this premise is there is a lawsuit between Apple and these people. SolidEnergy is working with A123 which is a subsidiary of Wanxiang Group, which is a privately held Chinese company mainly in the automotive business...but has interests in a lot of places (Wanxiang is basically a group owned by members of the Chinese political party. Company was started in the 1960's by a guy running a bicycle repair shop. Now that is something considering Mao tse-tung was running China with an iron communist fist. Anyway...I doubt Apple will use this technology since they were fighting it out over patents.
