Tangs, its a slow news day so we are entitled to have a peripheral thread.
There is political motivation to push the economy in certain directions. And it doesnt help that politics is very polarized at the moment dangerous stuff these days. Its unfortunate as there is no real positive progress. And it is lazy politics ie its easier to play on people's bias than to properly debate and win over a vote.
Its a funny world where Tesla cars have had their tyres pumped up a little too much. Putting in hydrogen infrastructure will cost a bit, but LPGas infrastructure was successfully rolled out with a lot less economic subsidy than what the EV manufacturers are asking for.
People neglect the negative externalities regarding the construction of Lithium Ion batteries.
