Immediately the Permit to mine was granted , Alex set in motion the application for the Presidential Decree. The Senegal Government than went to work and processed the Decree to then discover towards the end of its formation that THEY had not included any mention of companies applying for the decree that are presently under the old mining code being granted terms and conditions still under the old mining code .The Government had formed a new Presidential Decree which only considered new companies applying under the new mining code. A swift apology by The Mining Minister , a quickly convened meeting with Government Lawyers to create wording to include applications like Bassaris moving forward , and a phone call to the Banks stating that the Decree will be processed in time for the expected granting of the project funding . That is expected as Niftiest said in his opinion around mid March.This is only my beliefs on what is perhaps going on over there .
