OK so all he has done is lie to several agencies, and in effect to the Australian people.... but given Gillard's form I'd say he is up for a front bench position.
You need a prison term of at least 12 months to trigger a by-election, so unless one of the prostitues was a minor he is home free. It doesn't matter how much debt he accumulates ... the Labor faithful have given him a blank cheque.
