Its always been like that.
I defy anyone to price any security or market to within +/- 20%. There has never been such precision in the Financial Markets.

As they say in the classics, 'In the short term the market is a voting machine and in the long term its a weighing machine'

The important lesson from this is that while the market can be generous in the long-run, trying to catch every twist and turn is the only way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
This is particularly true for the reatail players. They are totally outgunned by the props and hedge funds in the volatile short-term end of the spectrum.
