AKA, that news article about the diesel rebate being scrapped has been super seeded by a piece in the Fin Review reporting on a lunch where Swan assured attendees it would be remaining. Whispers suggest the govt wanted to get rid of it but Tony Windsor refused to back it.
You'll find the article on the AGO thread because they were obviously affected if the rebate is scrapped.
