When you invest directly, things are simple, you just concentrate on asset quality.
When you invest indirectly, asset quality reamins equally important, but the added concern is cost and whether you feel comfortable that your interests are at least as important as theirs. There are very few LICs, ETFs, Managed funds etc for which this can be said.
