It gets very tiresome reading schoolyard drivel, but just to play devil's advocate for a minute, perhaps the unexpected slowdown in sales growth can be attributed (or "put down", children) to companys, organisations, govt. depts. anticipating the coming availability of the more convenient, more accurate 'InTube', and so putting off the inevitable conversion from TST testing......?
