New to this virtual world, have half an inkling of diving in but guess I'm a bit of a traditionalist or over cautious. I just signed up to one of the 'wallets' and was going to deposit a lazy $200 but to verify there is about 6 steps that include photos of me, clear licence copies, copies of latest utility bill and of all things a link to my Facebook account.
One side of my mind yells identity theft the other side asks who controls the people who get all this information ??
I've pulled back on the dive for now.
