You don't "sign up" to wallets, there are ample options online with zero verification, maybe you mean an exchange. If you want to hold any "real" amount of money, get a hardware wallet to offer maximum security to remove third party risk or malware and hacking risk. Signing up to any stock-trading platform is three times as difficult as signing up to an exchange, so not sure what the problem is.
