Listen to the advice given here. Day trading stocks is tough business and not for beginners. IMO its for mugs and much easier other ways to achieve trading success.

If you want to trade, extend the time duration and use a different instrument. Look at holding for a few days, up to a week and trade forex.

Holding for a few days gives it a more conservative approach and easier to see the probability of price direction, day trading is relatively punting.

Forex is the biggest market in the world. Liquidity isn't a problem and the spread is very good. Not to mention no trading halts and limited chance of gap down/up because its open nearly 6 days a week continuously. No better market to trade IMO.

Use price action. Price action is raw and simplistic.

Look at conservative portfolio appreciation. You want to get rich overnight you'll lose with that type of mentality. One thing to keep in mind, trading is 90% attitude and 10% technical.

Nial Fuller will cover all the above. Brilliant teacher, trading Forex using price action.

    Hope this helps ....
