Angel - you will lose heaps of your money in the stockmarket - it is a snake pit, and nobody is there to protect you. It takes a decade or so to truly learn how it works and to make money. It is like fighting Mike Tyson with one hand behind your back to try to make money out of it at the start. Less than 5% of traders make money, and that gets taken off the other 95%, excluding dividends - of which you will see none for a long time in PDN, probably never. It is a zero sum game.

Also you have chronic illness - well why not add a pile of stress to that illness. Will that make you better?

You are being silly. All the advertising that is designed to get you trading or investing is bogus, and they just want your money, and don't care about you.
Every bit of media information is bogus too.
Anybody who says they will help you is probably bogus.

Also there are many brilliant fund managers out there who earn their money. Then you can focus on just when to invest.
