FAR's main acreage is an area approx 7000sqm of the West African Coast, in Senegals waters. There partner is the national oil company, Petrosen who owns 10%.
Hunt Energy and FAR completed a 3d seismic some years ago now. Hunt relinqished their holding, giving FAR 90%. They are targeting 1 million barrells of oil in the buried hill and 150k barrells in the 3 fan plays.
FAR are currently seeking a JV. A number of large producion and exploaration companies are analysing the data and hopefully will sign on soon.
The JV partner could be announced any day now
