Enjoy the journey, it can be very rewarding as long as you are prepared to do the work.
I personally spent more than 12 months (probably closer to 2 years) reading books,watching videos, trying out platforms,assessing both traders and a myriad of stock screening,charting and analysis tools before I even invested one cent in the market.
I wanted to invest and not gamble - an investment to me is based on evidence based decisions as much as possible, gambling is not. Trading is not about being right 100% of the time, and if anyone tells you they have 100% accuracy head for the exit without haste, trading is being able to win more than you lose and this is done through risk management, fund allocation, etc.
Hopefully many more experienced people will assist.
