Wish you will recover your paper losses and I have a hunch you will. Just don't hold your breath, it may take a while.
Just don't sell at these levels.

Look at it this way: Would you announce in the newspaper, that you are in the process to stitch up this excellent deal for this and that asset, which will cost you this and that and will earn you this and that. Everybody and his dog would come running and offer a better deal. You would lose it straight away. So sit tight and have some patience, if you can. .... Most of the Top 20 are just doing that.
