Oh and by the way, note that RIO has increased their holding by 2,176,060 shares. You may wonder why they are not forced to announce this.
It is because of the same dilution mentioned above.
Their absolute share holding has increased by that many shares and if not for the options being exercised they would have gone from 15.14% to 16.15% ie an increase of more than 1%. This would have meant they would have to announce their change.
However, because of the options being exercised and the subsequent dilution RIO is now at 15.5% and therefore need not announce the accumulation.
But we know don't we :)
