Muted response to the presentation to say the least with no share turnover last night.No update on Stage11 commissioning as promised in the Press Release-that's disappointing.Maybe there's still a text release from the presentation to be released.
Slide #22 was important in that it says that the resource base will be increased by 2 to 3 times by the end of the year ie within four months - so this must principally come from an acquisition(probably Gecamines) and this new project will be in production by the end of 2005 producing 15-20,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate(being AVM's share of production).
This project will be expanded and within 3.5 years of start-up will be producing 40-50,000 tpa of cathode copper(AVM's share).
It's still very positive - we just need some more details and confirmation on this deal.
We also need update on Stage11 commissioning as a priority.
