Sorry if I got the person wrong, I did see someone speculating that a deal was imminent with the AUS Navy, and having worked in defence and still doing some work in that space I knew that would not be correct, so whoever is posting these things is only damaging the company as it will be clear that it doesn’t come off. Thats not good for anyone. Based on the few areas in that space I an across I cant see them signing with anyone except Starlink directly or at a push through Telstra and that is an outlier at best.
Might be proven wrong and always open to that. I do know even if defence agree to buy Starlink they wont take Netlinkz security without a full DSD security audit of the code and other tests which could take 12 months or more. Its the same process for getting any telco to take a product into the network, DSD have to approve the inclusion in their networks and that is not an easy process.
