hi scottpev - if you were a SER holder in early june 2015 then you would have received Ionic shares on a 1:1 basis - this is when ionic demerged from SER.
also the value of SER was reduced with the demerger
if one bought ser before june 2015 and sold after the demerger - the cost price of the ser shares was reduced by the percentage as detailed in the ser announcement at the time
ionic was valued over 3c at the time - and ionic CR this calendar year has been @ 4c per share - with the special tax consideration
one can still buy ionic @ 4c per share - but I expect will need @ least $25k
I expect an announcement next week - since the 6-8 period is up
and a positive announcement could see the remaining ionic CR @ 4c gobbled up.
