Great news IMO!
I read this as an additional wireline run to test sands that indicated hydrocarbon on the initial logs. The MDT (Modular Dynamic Tester) will test reservoir pressure at specific points allowing the interpretation of gas/oil, oil/water or both contacts. It is an expensive test in terms of rig time and equipment and would most likely not be run if there was not evidence of hydrocarbon from the initial logs. The test will give an indication of permeability but more in a qualitative rather than quantitative measure.
