RFE are a bit different to the 2 companies you mentioned.
suppose the first thing you need to look at is the announcement on 22/12/10. part of this deal is the strategic alliance we now have with Orion Energy, horizontal drilling specialists. the managing director of this company is Steve Miller who recently got 600,000 options exercisable at $1, that probably gives you a hint at the value straight away.
next you probably need to look at the team in the US lead by Perry Gilstrap who has had 38 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
best to have a look at page 7 of the investor presentation released 2 days ago but i am personally confident RFE can "pull this off"
remembering RFE is also 100% owned and operated.
Bobwins, personally wouldnt invest in a company if i hadnt researched it but imho you have found and bought in to RFE at a VERY opportune time, it now depends on how long you want to stick around for.
with the backers RFE now has it wouldnt surprise me at all if the number of acres targeted blows out past the 48k stated, after all, the next 9 months and 5 wells will be to prove up this acreage, the more the better. this is when M & A becomes a possibility.
