    The suggestion here is that pharmaceutical companies will be able to repatriate their cash and then use it to fund takeovers.
    But one thing confuses me. If that cash was stashed away in say the Cayman Isles, they didn’t need to take it back to the US and pay hefty tax on it. Couldn’t they just have transferred the cash to Australia, avoided the tax, and bought VLA earlier? Or am I missing something?
    Anyway a happy Xmas and a prosperous new year to all holders. Let’s hope 18 is the year. But if they haven’t sold or partnered by next Xmas I doubt they ever will.
