QFE is not a BNPL, its a billing management platform and as all billings do these days, it allows for payment by credit or direct debit as chosen by the customer/client. In this case it will also allow for credit payment via Split It as an option. It isn't applicable to every bill generated by QFE unless requested by the client/customer who no doubt have a choice as to how their bill generated by QFE is to be paid whether via direct debit ag. bank account, credit card or Split It or by auto default to whatever they choose. Its just another option for a bill payment and I suspect most if not all retailers / services will be doing the same before long. Its not a big deal, its just taking advantage of another form of credit which can bite back hard if conditions for the interest free periods are not met.
