Right with both posts Jake, the capital requirements will be the determining factor in developing 855 and getting BPT on board can only be a bonus for Icon, but not the final answer IMO.
This looks like being akin to the shale developments in the US and with a bigger and apparently better resource in the Nappamerri Trough, I can but think that there must be one of the absolute majors needed to come into this project.
We are talking multi, multi millions of dollars and I don't think that even BPT can support that sort of capex. But, a great start and should quieten the critics who don't believe that Icon can deliver. Now, it's BPT who will be driving the ship in 855. Be most interesting to see how Icon handles being the operator for the CSG and thermals in 218 and 855 and clearly what they now do with 626.
Micro/LNG plants are also getting a bit of media coverage (Herald Sun 15/7 page 27 Cars Guide Liftout).
