What I find appalling is that landlords cant refuse tenants with pets... and on top of that, no insurance cover pet damage...
I spent 10k on engineered timber flooring for a house and specifically told the agent that I want no pets.
The tenants declared they had no pets until they moved in and lied about it. They have a dog.
They complain the floor scratches easily. I was enraged. I wanted to kick them out but due to uncertain times of Covid, I decided not to.
I can only contend with the bond money whcih is only $3240 approx... It will leave me out of pocket of about 7k...
I just dont want to think about it... and i am still p**sed off...
